BASIC_VIEWER Example viewer script demonstrating EventMarker usage

Usage:

basic_viewer

Inputs:

none

Outputs:

none (side effects only — opens a demo figure)

Notes

Creates a two-panel figure (image on top, time-series below) and installs an EventMarker on the top axes. Demonstrates adding event types, interactive marking via hotkeys, deleting selected events, adding free-text annotations, save/load via menu, and linked scroll/zoom/pan.

Hotkeys (printed to command window on startup):

1 - Mark REM region (constrained full-height) 2 - Mark Eyes Closed point 3 - Mark Alpha region (unconstrained height) 4 - Mark Arousal point Space - Add text annotation Backspace/Delete - Delete selected event Ctrl+S - Save events Ctrl+L - Load events
